Lahore: A female doctor in Lahore gunned down by unidentified motorcyclists in Defence area on Tuesday, police said.


Police said 25-year-old Dr Khaula was returning home after seeing her friend at the time of the incident.
Police said that the doctor's purse and mobile phone are missing.
Deputy Inspector General Operations Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry took notice of the incident, a police spokesperson said.
The DIG instructed the police force to trace the culprits using footage from cameras installed as part of the government's Safe City project.
Police and forensic experts gathered necessry evidence from the crime scene and shifted the body for autopsy.
Cantt division SP Esa Sukhaira said police were investigating the murder from all aspects and that the killers(s) would soon be traced.
