ECB angered Pakistan by pulling out of tour, since then it is ECB’s first official public statement.
Earlier in the day, the ECB apologized for cancelling Pakistan’s scheduled tour.
ECB Chairman Ian Watmore in an official statement said that the people in Pakistan were really upset with decision to withdraw tour.
The decision was taken by the cricket board and the players were not consulted about it, he said.
Ian Watmore further added that by next winter, England would commit to a full tour comprising three Tests and five one-day internationals.
The team had to play two T20Is at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on 13 and 14 October.
In 2020, Pakistan visited England and now it was anticipating English boys in the realm as gratitude, friendship, and give and take gesture.
It took more than a decade to rebuild Pakistan’s image that was lost after third-party inclusion during the 2009 Sri Lanka tour.
