Government to reward citizens, cities with higher vaccination ratio: Asad Umer
"Vaccination is the only way forward, as the world knows very well, to battle the coronavirus," says the NCOC Chief.
Islamabad: The Chief of National Command and Control (NCOC) Asad Umer alongside the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Faisal held a press conference in Islamabad and asserted that the strategy to reward citizens and cities which are vaccinated is being devised.
Both also said that there would be more restrictions on unvaccinated individuals and cities with low vaccination ratios.
"Vaccination is the only way forward, as the world knows very well, to battle the coronavirus," says the NCOC Chief.
The only way out of the covid pandemic is to get high percentage of citizens vaccinated. Therefore as part of the strategy to reward citizens & cities which vaccinate, there will be higher restrictions on cities with low level of vaccination & on citizens who are not vaccinated

Asad Umer also said that getting the most people vaccinated is the fastest way to get rid of the problems of coronavirus otherwise, we will have to depend on closures.
New restrictions and rewards are planned to be implemented from October 1.
NCOC has decided to relax restrictions in 8 cities with the highest level of vaccination. These include Quetta, Peshawar, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Mirpur, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Skardu.
