Rawalpindi: Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ on Friday.

Both sides discussed matters of mutual interests and agreed to enhance ties in various fields including defense.
The matters relating to regional security especially Afghanistan also came under discussion.

The Danish FM pledged on Denmark’s behalf to improve and strengthen cooperation and bilateral ties with Pakistan on various levels. He parised Pakistan's role in Afghanistan as the former played its role in Afghan evacuation and peace and stability in the region.
General Bajwa said Pakistan rated relatons with Denmark extremely high and that Pakistan wanted to promote bilateral ties.
