London: Former leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Mohammad Anwar has passed away in London.

According to details, the former leader passed away after fighting a brief battle with cancer at London's Royal Free Hospital.
The news was confirmed by his family through a statement.
"He was the most loving husband, father, grandfather and father-in-law. He was always full of love, affection and was a pillar of strength for our entire family," read the statement.
He has left behind a wife and three daughters.
Muhammad Anwar was booked in several cases in Pakistan on charges of terrorism, extortion and land grabbing.
