Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the government enjoys ideal relations with all the state institutions.
Talking to people in Multan, he said there is no threat to the incumbent PTI government from the lame opposition and it will complete its constitutional term.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi asked the opposition parties to be patient as their desire to dislodge the government cannot be fulfilled.
Commenting on economy, he said the inflation is a big challenge for the government. However, the government is trying its best to minimize the burden on masses.
The Foreign Minister said that Coronavirus affected the international economy as a whole and that is why the rise in oil prices in the world market forced the government to increase the prices of petroleum products within the country.
About Afghanistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan wants peace and stability in the neighbouring country as it is imperative for regional peace.
He reiterated that Pakistan would continue its reconciliatory efforts for establishment of peace in the region.
The Foreign Minister said some forces wish to destabilize Afghanistan, but they should not be let to succeed.
He said establishing peace in Afghanistan is also essential for development and prosperity of the region.
