Rawalpindi: A Pakistan army soldier embraced martyrdom on Wednesday after terrorists targeted the Security Forces post in Thall, Hangu District, said military’s media wing.
According to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) an ambush led by terrorists opened fire on a security checkpost at Thall.
Troops, however, initiated a prompt response but one sepoy embraced martyrdom while resisting the sudden attack.
Hailing from Mansehra, Sepoy Waqas (26) resisted the terrorism with valor, said ISPR.
The area has been cordoned off, aiming to eliminate any terrorists in the area.
