Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan has turned 56 today (November 2), following which Bollywood celebrities and fans flooded social media with birthday wishes.
With birthday wishes pouring in, fans trended hashtags such as #HappyBirthdaySRK, #HappyBirthdayShahRukhKhan, #KingKhan and #srk56 on microblogging app, Twitter.
Several Bollywood stars shared old photos of themselves with Shah Rukh Khan, wishing him a happy birthday.
Bollywood star’s birthday comes three days after his son, Aryan, walked out of the prison in Mumbai after 22 days arrest following a drug raid on a cruise ship.
Moreover, thousands of fans of the superstar have also gathered outside Mannat to get a glimpse of the actor as every year on his birthday, SRK waves at his fans from his balcony.
Born on November 2, Shah Rukh Khan attended Delhi's St. Columba's School and did his graduation from Hansraj College.
He began studying for a master's degree in mass communication at Jamia Millia Islamia, but left to pursue his acting career.
Shah Rukh Khan entered the industry with a five-year plan and made his debut with ‘Deewana’ in 1992.
He played villainous roles in Baazigar in 1993, Darr in 1993 and Anjaam in 1994 and then became the heartthrob of the country with his romantic films, swooning his fans with charisma.
