With a fresh increase of 0.44%, the Pakistani rupee settled at Rs170.54 against the greenback in the inter-bank market on Tuesday.

Islamabad: The exchange rate of the Pakistan rupee against the US dollar strengthened by 75 paisas in the interbank trading on Tuesday to close at Rs 170.54 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 171.29.
The dollar was being quoted at around 170.29 when compared to the previous close of Rs171.29.
The domestic currency has started to gain its ground after the announcement of $4.2 billion financial support by Saudi Arabia, after sweeping losses for more than two months.
