The web portal to register beneficiaries under Ehsaas Rashan program will open from Monday (today).
This was stated by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, Dr. Sania Nishtar in an interview with APP.
She said the program will enable buyers having monthly income less than 31,000 rupees, to buy flour, pulses and cooking oil or ghee on subsidized rates from the designated Kiryana or utility stores.
She said the government will incentivize these merchants through giving them profit on subsidy amount to motivate them for serving more and more people.
