Two police officers martyred in Bajaur blast

Bajaur: A blast has been reported in Khar tehsil of Bajaur, as a result two police officers were martyred.

District Police Officer (DPO) Abdul Samad Khan confirmed the blast and stated that the blast took place near Raghgan Dam site in which 2 police officers were martyred.

Abdul Samad Khan said it was a remote controlled blast and the bomb was planted to target police personnel deployed for security at a dam site in tehsil Khar of the district

After the blast, the security forces cordoned off the area and kicked off a search operation.
