Gold price rises in Pakistan
Bullion price settles at Rs124,450 per tola and Rs106,696 per 10 grams on Saturday
KARACHI: The gold price maintained its uptrend in the domestic market and rose by Rs250 to close at Rs124,450 per tola on Saturday in line with the surge in the international bullion market.
According to Sarafa and Jewellers Association, The gold price in Pakistan recorded an increase of Rs250 per tola to reach Rs124,450 per tola.
Meanwhile, the gold price in the local bullion market jumped Rs215 per 10 grams to reach Rs106,696.
A day earlier, the precious commodity closed at Rs124,200 per tola and Rs106,567 per 10 grams.
Cumulatively, the safe-haven asset gained Rs1,050 or 0.85% per tola during the week ended December 11.
