Earthquake jolts Swat, Malakand and surrounding areas

Malakand: A powerful earthquake jolted district Malakand, Swat and surrounding areas on Friday noon, however, no loss of property and life was reported.

Earthquake tremors were also felt in Swat, Mansehra, Chitral, Nowshehra, Malakand, Battagram, Allai, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner and Upper and Lower Dir.

Meanwhile, the area residents, following the tremors, panicked and came out of their residences.

According to initial reports, no casualties have been reported so far in the earthquake.
