Weapon and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorist


Tank: Two terrorists of a banned organization were killed in an intelligence-based search operation conducted by the security forces.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces and intelligence agencies carried out a high value targeted joint operation in Kot Kit area of Tank. "During intense exchange of fire, two terrorist got killed. Weapon and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorist", ISPR added.
ISPR said that two terrorists of Asmat Ullah Shaheen group Daniyal and Shaheen alias Zakir were killed during the encounter. Both terrorists have been involved in targeted killings and kidnappings for ransom. Hand grenades, Kalashnikovs and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists' possession.
During the exchange of fire, Hawaldar Munawar, Sepoy Zakaullah, Sepoy Farhan and Sepoy Shiraz embraced martyrdom, the military's media wing added.
The ISPR further said that a search operation is in the process to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
