Karachi: In the first match of the 7th day of Pakistan Super League, defending champions Karachi Kings beat Multan Sultans by 7 wickets and secured their second win of PSL’s sixth edition.

Earlier, the Sultans were asked to bat first by Kings after the latter won the toss and set a huge target of 196 runs in the 9th match of the tournament.
Both teams tried to get back in form and to solidify their position on the points table.
Also both the teams had fielded the same playing eleven they have had in the last two games.
In Eight head-to-head games, Karachi has defeated Multan Sultans five time. The last year both sides had seen each other in the playoffs as well, where the match went down to the super over during.
The Sultans have won just one game against the Kings while two games ended without result.
Peshawar Zalmi is ready to set a tough target for its rival Islamabad United tonight. The match will be played at 7 pm.
Earlier, on Friday, Sultans defeated Lahore Qalandars by 7 wickets and Peshawar Zalmi routed Quetta Gladiators in thrilling PSL6 encounter.
