Bitgram: A 20-year-old girl was raped in the sub-jail of Bitgram.

According to the details, the government hospital has confirmed the rape of the girl, while the victim has alleged that the jail superintendent called her to the office and raped her.

The District Police Officer (DPO) stated that the Jail Superintendent has obtained pre-arrest bail from the local court, but a departmental inquiry is being conducted against him.

Islamabad: The Metro Bus service in the federal capital Islamabad is still partially suspended.

According to officials, Metro Bus service has been restored from Saddar Station to Faizabad in Rawalpindi, while the bus service from Faizabad to Pak Secretariat is completely closed.

It is also reported that the Metro Bus service has been banned on the instructions of the district administration.

It is pertinent to note that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest has been going on for the last three days at various places in the federal capital due to which the metro bus service was suspended, but now it has been restored to an extent.

Multan: In the first match of the three-Test series between Pakistan and England, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first on Monday.

In the first Test being played at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Shan Masood, the captain of the national team, won the toss and decided to bat first against England.

It is pertinent to note that Ollie Pope is leading the team in the absence of Ben Stokes, the captain of the England test team, while national fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, who was dropped from the second test match against Bangladesh due to the birth of his son, is back in the team.
