Islamabad: The international cricket council (ICC) has issued new ranking of T20 format.

According to the details, in the batters’ ranking captain Babar Azam is falling down whereas in the bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi has come on 17th position by jumping the two ranks higher.

The 4th position has snatched from Babar Azam in T20 series against New Zealand due to the bad batting performance of him. He has come on 5th number in ICC ranking in T20 format. His rating points are 753.

However, the Aiden Markram has got the 4th position in ICC ranking. Muhammad Rizwan is on the 3rd position of with the 800 rating points. Shadab Khan is on 24th number while there is no Pakistani included in the top 10 bowlers.

Naseem Shah got a shock after coming back from injury. He has come on 52nd number after dropping more nine ranks. Adil Rashid is on 1st position in bowling.

Imran Khan nominates Hamid Raza as chairman PAC

He said that there is no jurisdiction in the nomination of chairman PAC of speaker.

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) founder Imran Khan has nominated Sunni Ittehad Council’s (SIC) head Hamid Raza as chairman public accounts committee (PAC).

According to the details, Imran Khan issued directions to opposition leader Omar Ayub for the nomination of Hamid Raza. Earlier, Imran Khan had nominated chairman PAC to PTI’s leader Sher Afzal Marwat.

The opposition members Zain Qureshi, Sher Afzal Marwat and Hamid Raza have met with speaker national assembly in which the discussion has exchanged regarding the matters of forming parliamentary committees.

However, the opposition gave the name of Hamid Raza for chairman PAC to speaker. Speaker national assembly Ayaz Sadiq stated that the selection of chairman PAC will be according to the rules.

He said that there is no jurisdiction in the nomination of chairman PAC of speaker. This decision has to take by the opposition whatever the name they will be given he will become the chairman PAC.

After President’s visit, Pakistan-Iran joint declaration issued

Islamabad: Pakistan-Iran Joint Declaration was issued after the visit of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.

According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the Pakistan-Iran joint declaration consists of 28 points, in which it is stated that Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi had a delegation-level discussion with the Prime Minister, and the parties reviewed all aspects of Pakistan-Iran bilateral relations.

It has been stated in the joint statement that on the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President of Iran Ibrahim Raisi paid an official visit to Pakistan. The Iranian President was accompanied by a high-level delegation including the Foreign Minister.

According to the joint statement, the delegation included Amir Abdullahiyan and other cabinet members, along with senior officials.

The regional and global issues of mutual concern were also discussed during the visit. Several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements were also signed, added the declaration.

According to the joint declaration, it was agreed to enhance mutual relations through regular exchange of high-level visits to strengthen brotherly ties.

The historical, cultural, religious and civilizational relations between the two neighboring and Muslim countries were highlighted.

The statement said that Pakistan and Iran condemned the attack on the Iranian consular session in Damascus, both countries recognized the mutual border as a border of Pakistan-Iran friendship and peace.

It has been stated in the joint statement that Pakistan and Iran agreed to cooperate with political and security authorities on a permanent basis. The aim of mutual cooperation is to prevent terrorism, drug and human trafficking.

It is pertinent to note that Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi arrived on an official visit to Pakistan on Monday, April 22 and he returned from Karachi on April 24 after completing the visit.
