Education authority issues notification of school’s schedule 

In accordance with the notification, girls’ school will be started on 7:45am while the off will be on 1:15pm.

Lahore: The school education authority Lahore has issued notification of changing school’s schedule.

According to the details, school education authority Lahore reduced the schedule of schools of 15 minutes. In accordance with the notification, girls’ school will be started on 7:45am while the off will be on 1:15pm.

The boys’ school will be started on 8:00am while the off will be on 1:30pm. Similarly, on Fridays the girls’ school will be off on 11:45am and boys’ school will be on 12:00pm.

In double shift, the first shift in schools will be started on 7:45am and off will be on 12:15pm whereas the second shift of schools will be started on 2:15pm and off will be on 5:30pm.

Saad Rafique demands to restore X

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique demanded the government to lift the ban on social media website X (formerly Twitter).

The leader of Muslim League-N Saad Rafiq turned to social networking website X and stated that the ban on X (Twitter) should be lifted in the country. This ban imposed during the caretaker period did not benefit anyone.

He added that they should avoid the humiliation, politics will be fought only with politics.

It is pertinent to note that despite the submission of reports by the Ministry of Interior and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) yesterday, a decision regarding the restoration of X service could not be taken.

Notably, the service of Twitter (X) has been suspended across Pakistan since February 17 which was partially restored several times during the last two months, but it could not be fully operationalized.

Mumbai: The general elections in India starting from April 19 will be held in seven phases till June 1.

According to the news agency, the results of the elections in India will be announced on June 4. The most important candidate is the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while Rahul Gandhi, the main face of the largest opposition party Congress, is in the election field.

If Modi succeeds, he will be the second Indian Prime Minister to be elected for the third consecutive term. Before that, Jawaharlal Nehru became the Prime Minister of India for three consecutive terms.

According to reports, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has the largest support of the country's majority Hindus, while 23 opposition parties have formed a political alliance under the name of 'India'.

To form a government in India, winning 272 out of 543 Lok Sabha seats is necessary, the number of registered voters in India is 970 million.

The Indian election is also considered to be the biggest election campaign in any country in the world.
