Another cop murdered in Lahore target killing
The firing incident took place inside Taxali Gate where unidentified persons opened fire and injured Constable Ghulam Rasool
Lahore: Another police constable was gunned down by target killers in the Tibbi City area of Lahore.
According to the details, Constable Ghulam Rasool was returning home after performing his duty at Ittehad Park Shahdara when the accused opened fire.
The firing incident took place inside Taxali Gate where unidentified persons opened fire and injured Constable Ghulam Rasool.
The official was shifted to the hospital in critical condition, however, he succumbed to his injuries.
It is pertinent to note that Ghulam Rasool was posted in the judicial wing. Inspector General (IG) Punjab Usman Anwar has ordered the immediate arrest of the accused involved in the incident.
Earlier on April 28, a sub-inspector was targeted and killed by armed suspects in the Misri Shah area of Lahore.
According to the police authorities, the accused escaped from the spot. Three teams were formed to arrest the killers of the martyred sub-inspector, but no arrest has been made so far.

Traffic plan issued for rally of JUI in Karachi
However, the traffic police officials affirmed that the law and order situation will be overseen for JUI rally
Karachi: The traffic plan has issued for today’s (Thursday) rally of Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI) in Karachi.
According to traffic police, the traffic which will be coming from the highway will not be allowed to move forward from Noorani signal. Public can use the alternate ways amid this situation.
The traffic will be move forward to alternate ways so that the people should not have to face any kind of problem. Some roads will be closed for the traffic because of the JUI’s rally but the arrangements have been completed regarding the security matters.
However, the traffic police officials affirmed that the law and order situation will be overseen for the JUI rally.

Electrocution adversely burns five in Lahore
The rescue team reached the spot and shifted the victims to the hospital in critical condition
Lahore: In an unfortunate incident, five people were badly burnt and injured due to electric shock in the provincial capital Lahore.
According to the details, the tragic incident of electrocution took place in Gul Bahar Colony in Shalimar area of Lahore, where five people in the room were electrocuted due to a short circuit, as a result of which they got badly burnt.
After receiving information about the incident, the rescue team reached the spot and shifted the victims to the hospital in critical condition where they are being provided medical treatment.
