Zain Qureshi calls by-elections as referendum

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s son Zain Qureshi stated that on April 21 not the by-elections is going to held but the referendum.

According to the details, Zain Qureshi was talking to media outside the anti-terrorism court Lahore regarding the by-elections ahead on April 21.

He said that as the people had given vote on February 8 in the general elections they have to give vote on April 21 in by-elections. The people have to cast vote as well as to save their vote in by-elections.

PTI’s leader claimed that the vote was stolen from the party on February 8. The form-47 and form-45 were changed.

Zain Qureshi added that the result of by-elections will be the releasing order of Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

By-election: Recommendation to ban mobile, internet service

The Punjab Interior Department has written a letter to the Federal Interior Ministry requesting to suspend mobile and internet service in 13 districts and tehsils.

Islamabad: The by-elections are going to be held in Pakistan Sunday, April 21. In this regard, Punjab Interior Department has recommended to ban mobile and internet service.

By-elections will be held on five seats of the National Assembly and 16 seats of the Provincial Assembly on Sunday.

The Punjab Interior Department has written a letter to the Federal Interior Ministry requesting to suspend mobile and internet service in 13 districts and tehsils.

A copy of the Interior Department's letter has been sent to Chief Secretary, Inspector General (IG) and Chairman Pakistan telecommunication Authority (PTA).

Tehran: The Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that there was no aerial attack on Iran on Friday night and Israel is not behind the recent drone attack.

Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian stated in an interview in New York that there was no damage in the drone attack on the city of Isfahan on Friday. Unless Israel launches a major attack, Iran does not intend to retaliate.

He added that media supporters of the Zionist regime tried to portray their defeat as a victory, but the downed small drones did not cause any loss of life or property. Israeli weapons are not drones, but are like toys that our children play with.

Hossein Amir Abdollahian further said that our response will be tougher if Israel's action against Iran is proven and they will regret taking action against Iran.
