Islamabad: The clash between the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur and the Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has reached to KP House Islamabad as the Governor has been banned from coming to KP House Islamabad, GNN reported.

According to the sources, Chief Minister Amin Gandapur vacated the KP House Anexy from Governor Faisal Karim Kundi threw away all his belongings. Chief Minister is staying in KP House Islamabad for three days and running all the affairs of the province from there.

In this regard, Governor Faisal Karim while talking to the media said that he has invited the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the Governor's House, if he does not come, then call him to the Chief Minister's House, no one can impose ban on anyone.

The governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa further said: “Politics is separate but I will fight the case of the province with the federation and will never get into a political war. Need to work for the province instead of impressing, whoever wants to come to the governor house can come”.

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is going to held a ceremony in the honour of national hockey team on Wednesday.

In the ceremony, the Prime Minister will encourage the national team. Rana Mashhood Ahmed, the hockey legends will also participate in the ceremony.

Shehbaz Sharif will award prizes to the national hockey team in the ceremony.

It is pertinent to note that Pakistan won the silver medal in the Azlan Shah Hockey Cup. In the final, Japan defeated Pakistan in a penalty shootout.

CM Punjab call five-year plan for education reforms

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Wednesday called for the monthly schedule of the five-year plan related to education reforms.

A special meeting regarding school education reforms was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, in which Senator Pervez Rasheed, Provincial Ministers Marriyum Aurangzeb, Rana Sikander Hayat, Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Sania Ashiq, Chief Secretary, Secretary Education and other relevant officials participated.

In the meeting, the public school re-organisation program was reviewed in detail, while the secretary school education informed the chief minister about the progress on the school nutrition project. Maryam Nawaz asked for the monthly schedule of the five-year plan of education reforms.

During the meeting, Chief Minister approved giving 32,298 computer tabs to primary school heads while it was agreed to establish IT and science lab in 1,000 elementary schools. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide financial assistance of 100 million dollars for the establishment of the lab.

The meeting also gave in-principle approval of the agreement to 0.3 million students of government schools for Google certification. The students will get opportunities for Google certification under the Digital Journey for Tech Valley project.

In the meeting, suggestions and recommendations for the establishment of Punjab Education Curriculum and Training were also reviewed, while in this regard it was informed in the briefing that more than 92 percent free books have been delivered.

Talking to the participants of the meeting, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that the quality of education in government schools should be improved in any case.
