PDMA issues rain, hailstorm warning in Punjab
It has been informed that the extreme weather is likely to persist till Wednesday following which the weather will clear out, with dry conditions.
Lahore: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Tuesday issued an alert predicting heavy rains and hailstorms in different districts of Punjab.
According to PDMA spokesperson, it is predicted that the stormy weather will prevail across numerous areas of the province, accompanied by hailstorms and thunderous showers.
Murree, Guliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala, and Gujarat, among other cities are anticipated to recieve rain.
Moreover, other cities including Lahore, Kasur, Faisalabad, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Toba Tek Singh, Mianwali, Khushab, Okara, Narowal, Pakpattan, Sahiwal, Jhang and Sargodha are also expected to experience rain.
The spokesperson of PDMA stated that most of the district will see rainfall along with hailstorms, directing the people to take precautionary measures to stay safe and avoid potential damage.
It has been informed that the extreme weather is likely to persist till Wednesday following which the weather will clear out, with dry conditions. Following these predictions, the administration has issues 24-hour alert in line with the orders of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz and Director General (DG) PDMA.
People have also been directed to avoid unnecessary travel, stay indoors and protect their belongings to avoid any worst effects of expected weather conditions.

IHC disposes of plea regarding to give poison to Bushra Bibi
Justice asked that what is about with the poison.
Islamabad: The Islamabad high court (IHC) has disposed of the plea while rejecting the claims on finding no proof to give poison to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi.
According to the details, justice Mian Gil Hassan Aurangzeb heard the plea of medical checkup due to the concern of giving poison to Bushra Bibi.
Justice Mian Gil Hassan questioned that was the Bushra Bibi’s test completed and is Bushra Bibi fine now.
Official lawyer Abd-ur-Rehman told the court the Bushra Bibi’s tests were completed from Al-Shifa hospital in the supervision of Dr. Asim Yousaf. Bushra Bibi is completely fine.
Justice asked that what is about with the poison. On which the official lawyer replied that no effects have found of any poison.
The applicant lawyer said that Bushra Bibi wants to brief in the court by herself. Justice also said that there is nothing wrong happened with Bushra Bibi. So, the court is disposing of the petition.

Court postpones hearing against Maryam Nawaz on May 2
It should be noted that the court summoned the report of front desk from the applicant.
Lahore: The session court Lahore could not hear the plea to register case against chief minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz due to the transfer of judge.
According to the details, a citizen named Waqar Ali filed a plea against Maryam Nawaz. The applicant’s lawyer Aftab Bajwa appeared before the court.
During the hearing, the applicant’s lawyer stated that Maryam Nawaz wore the police’s official uniform and no one can wear the official uniform of any department.
Lawyer Aftab pleaded from the court to register case against Maryam Nawaz amid this.
Later then the court postponed the hearing till May 2 against Maryam Nawaz.
It should be noted that the court summoned the report of front desk from the applicant.
