No-confidence motion: PM Imran Khan decides to meet PTI MNAS

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has become politically active and decided to hold meetings with several members of the National Assembly (MNAs) of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) ahead of a no-confidence motion against him.

According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to hold meetings with members of the National Assembly to take his colleagues into confidence on the matter of the opposition's no-confidence motion. 

Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to meet several members of the National Assembly on Saturday and Sunday. The prime minister has also summoned members of the PTI’s political committee at Bani Gala.

Sources said that the Prime Minister would also brief his members of the National Assembly on his strategy to deal with the no-confidence motion. Reservations of the PTI lawmakers will also be addressed during the meetings.

It is pertinent to remember that the Opposition has submitted the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in the National Assembly Secretariat on March 9.

A total of 86 lawmakers from the Opposition parties have signed the no-confidence motion, sources said. JUI-F's Shahida Akhtar Ali, PML-N's Khawaja Saad Rafique, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Sanaullah, Khawaja Saad Rafique, and PPP's Naveed Qamar and Shazia Marri submitted the no-trust motion and requisition for a session to the NA Secretariat.
