Deputy Speaker termed the no-confidence motion as 'unconstitutional'
Islamabad: The National Assembly session has been adjourned indefinitely as Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri rejected the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan, ruling that the motion was against Pakistan's Constitution.
According to details, the Deputy Speaker dismissed the opposition's no-confidence motion terming it against Article 5 of the Constitution.
Shortly after the session began, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that loyalty to the state was the basic duty of every citizen under Article 5.
