Haleem Adil Sheikh was arrested by an anti-encroachment team after the court revoked his bail.


Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Sheikh has been taken into custody after his bail was canceled in a case related to illegally occupying governments land.
According to details, the anti-encroachment officials told the court that despite 12 notices, the PTI leader did not come to record his statement.
The officials also added that Haleem is accused of encroachment on government land, however, the opposition leader in Sindh Assembly is not cooperating with the investigation.
The Anti-Encroachment Tribunal heard the case.
After hearing the arguments, the court canceled the bail of Haleem Adil Sheikh, following which officials detained the PTI leader.
On July 27, Haleem Adil was apprehended by Anti-Corruption Director Zeeshan Memon when he reached Jamshoro to attend a court hearing.
He was, then, shifted to an undisclosed location.
