Pakistan is responsible country, retaliated following UN Charter, Atta Tarar
We reject Indian accusation of targeting civilian population

Islamabad: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said that Pakistan has retaliated against India following the UN Charter.
Talking to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Information Minister Atta Tarar stated that Pakistan is a responsible country, retaliated in accordance with the UN Charter, and we took action in exercising our right to self-defense.
The Information Minister added that we reject the Indian accusation of targeting the civilian population; we only targeted Indian military installations. India targeted Amritsar itself.
Atta Tarar further said that Pahalgam is located more than 200 kilometers from the Pakistani border, there is no evidence of Pakistan's involvement in the Pahalgam incident. We offered cooperation in a transparent and joint investigation into the Pahalgam incident, but India filed a First Information Report (FIR) just 10 minutes after the incident, making the incident suspicious.
The Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting has also said that we have been in contact with various countries at the diplomatic level, and have contacted China and Saudi Arabia on the situation in the region.
