Nawaz Sharif seeks guarantee for his safe return, reveals Arif Hameed Bhatti
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif has sought a guarantee from some ‘powerful circles’ of the country for his safe and un-arrested return.
Speaking in GNN ‘Khabar Hai’ programme, senior journalist and analyst Arif Hameed Bhatti said that Nawaz Sharif has sent a message to ‘powerful elements’ through Shahbaz Sharif that if he is given a guarantee of not being arrested then he can consider returning to Pakistan.
Further, the veteran journalist revealed that a surety of no-arrest from PML-N leader is also being asked from a neighbouring country and if a bordering state assures that he would not be arrested then only Nawaz Sharif intends to fly-back.
PML-N supremo had also sent a mysterious bag to a house situated in F-7 Islamabad which was passed over to Jamiat Ulema-e Islam Pakistan-Fazal (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, however, the nature of the bag is yet to be known, he added.
