‘Ertugrul’ star Celal Al reaches Pakistan; peps up flood relief efforts
The actor travelled all the way from Turkey to express solidarity with the flood victims in Pakistan.
Karachi: Turkish star Celal Al, who portrayed Abdurrahman Alp in the acclaimed Turkish series DiriliÅ: ErtuÄrul, has reached Pakistan to volunteer in flood relief activities and also urged his followers to donate to flood victims.
As per reports, the actor travelled all the way from Turkey to express solidarity with the flood victims in Pakistan. He is with the Red Crescent Team to help the flood victims, following which his pictures distributing relief items among flood affectees have been circulating on social media platforms.
The Turkish star turned to his official Instagram handle and shared a video post appealing to people to donate generously. He mentioned that one-third of the country is underwater, and victims are desperately in need of aid.
He then informed his followers, “I encourage you all to make a donation by typing ‘Pakistan’ and texting it to 2868”.
In another clip, the ErtuÄrul star could be seen playing with a bunch of kids in a flood-hit region, whose caption read: “Long live Turkey and long live Pakistan!”.
Celal Al visited Pakistan in 2021 and interacted with several Pakistani artists during his stay in Karachi.
