CM to move KP assembly dissolution summary tomorrow
He added that PTI will return to the government with two-thirds majority.
Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mehmood Khan Sunday announced the dissolution of the provincial assembly.
Turning to Twitter, Mahmood Khan said, as per the orders of leader Imran Khan, the summary for the dissolution of the assembly will be sent to the governor on Tuesday.
He added that Pakistan tehreek-e-Insaf will return to the government with two-thirds majority.
Earlier, Chief Minister had said that after the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly, he will send the advice to the governor to dissolve the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on January 14.
It should be noted that there was no ‘no-confidence’ motion against the Chief Minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, nor did the Governor directed a vote of confidence. However, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Ghulam Ali had advised the Chief Minister not to dissolve the assembly.
