Dubai announces free parking, extended metro timing during Eid-ul-Adha
Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has changed the operating hours of transportation and provided free parking services.
Dubai: The Dubai government has announced free public parking and extended timings for the metro during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
According to the media, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has declared changes in the operating hours of the metro, buses, and trams for the Islamic festival.
Additionally, public parking in Dubai will be free for four days.
Starting from Tuesday, June 27, until Friday, June 30, parking fees will not be applicable in terminals and designated zones. However, parking fees will resume from Saturday, July 1.
It has been reported that employees of both government and private sectors will enjoy an extended break of six days during the Eid-ul-Adha period.
Government employees will have a continuous holiday from Tuesday to Friday, while private sector employees will have a six-day break, including the following weekend, and they will return to work on Monday, July 3.
The Dubai Metro service will operate from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM from June 26 to June 30 and on July 1, while the timing will be from 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM on June 25 and July 2.
Trams will run from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM from June 26 to June 30 and on July 1.
On June 25 and July 2, the tram services will operate from 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM.
The Dubai bus service will be available from Sunday to Thursday, starting from 4:30 AM to 12:30 AM, on Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM, and on Saturday from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM.
