Sirajul Haq demands govt to reveal IMF agreement details
The JI leader remarks that the coalition government's performance over the past fifteen months has been subpar, asserting that the country's economic issues cannot be resolved by thirteen political parties alone.
Lahore: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader, Sirajul Haq, called on the government to provide transparency by disclosing the specifics of its recent agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The JI leader remarked that the coalition government's performance over the past fifteen months has been subpar, asserting that the country's economic issues cannot be resolved by thirteen political parties alone.
Mr. Haq further criticized the state of the nation's resources, alleging that they have been severely exploited over the course of 75 years.
He pointed out the alarming rise in the number of sugar mills owned by ruling elites, which has only contributed to the increasing poverty among the general public. He stressed that the Jamaat-e-Islami offers the genuine option for substantial change in the country.
