“We should learn from the past as Pakistan was stable in 90s,” Shehbaz said.

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif launched Women Empowerment Program on Tuesday.
In his remarks during the ceremony, he stated that women made up more than 50% of the population of the nation and were essential to our society. He said, "Women hold important positions in the nation."
“They add inevitable share to children’s education and construction of society,” he said.
The premier claimed that despite 75 years, little progress had been made in granting women's rights, adding that without women's involvement, nations could not progress for growth. He continued, "Pakistan faces the most difficult challenge in expanding its economy.
He continued by stating that Saudi Arabia had transferred $2 billion into the State Bank of Pakistan's (SBP) account and asked how long the nation would continue to seek loans. "We have to ask this stinging question to ourselves," he continued.
“We should learn from the past as Pakistan was stable in 90s,” he said.
Shehbaz said men and women had to participate fully in the country’s development, adding that government had allocated funds for martyrs’ families. “The IMF board will meet on Wednesday and I hope the agreement takes place,” he added.
Further he claimed that it was a matter of concern for all of us, adding that if we wanted to break the shackles of slavery, we needed to use all resources. “Allah has blessed Pakistan with many resources,” he added.
