Lahore: Anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday sent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) women wing leader Khadija Shah on 14-day judicial remand in a case of burning Askari Tower.

After hearing the case, administrative judge Abhar Gul directed her to reappear on July 31.

Earlier, the ATC’s special court had discarded pleas of women involved in May 9 attack including Tayyaba Raja and Robina Khan.

The Sarwar Road police had registered a case against the accused women under different sections, including 7ATA.

It is pertinent to mention that the ATC Judge on July 3 had also extended 14 days judicial remand of accused Khadija Shah in a case of setting ablaze the Askari Towers and spreading chaos following former PM Imran Khan's arrest.

Jail authorities had produced the accused before the court after her judicial remand had expired.

However, the ATC judge extended her judicial remand and directed police to submit a challan before the court.
