Lahore: The Punjab police on Saturday started investigation into the perplexing death of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Shariq Jamal in Lahore.
According to reports, Jamal's body was brought to a private hospital in the DHA area by a man and his wife, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The incident took place at approximately 1:30 am, and the DIG was found at the couple's flat at the time of his demise. As authorities delve deeper into the case, the circumstances surrounding the sudden death remain unclear.
