Imran's arrest unrelated to elections or government: Marriyum Aurangzeb
Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Federal Information Minister, accuses PTI Chairman of political vengeance.
Islamabad: During a press conference in Islamabad, Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb stated that the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan was a result of a court ruling, and it has no connection with any upcoming elections or government actions.
She criticized Imran Khan for attempting to create a narrative of political vengeance in the Toosha Khana case.
Maryam Aurangzeb clarified that the Tosha Khana case has been under investigation for a period of 13 months.
Out of the 40 charges brought against PTI Chairman, only 3 were taken up by the court during the trial, and a verdict was delivered after due process.

The Federal Information Minister accused Imran Khan of using delaying tactics in the case and attempting to evade the law.
She reiterated that Imran Khan's arrest is not politically motivated, and more than 40 charges have been investigated with questionnaires submitted.
Furthermore, Maryam Aurangzeb alleged that Imran Khan continuously crafted a narrative of political vendetta and provided false statements in court.
She stressed that Imran Khan's dishonesty surpasses any doubts, and his involvement in the Tosha Khana case has been marked by submitting false answers.
