Deadly clash in Libya claims 27 lives
More than 100 people were injured in clashes of civil war in Libya.
Tripoli: 27 individuals were killed and more than 100 injured in the recent clashes during the civil war in Libya.
As reported by international media, clashes between two powerful armed groups took place in the southern region of Tripoli, Libya, in which at least 27 people were killed and 106 injured.
Due to the clashes, the citizens have been trapped in their homes.
Libya's Ministry of Health says it is the most intense fighting in the history of Tripoli.
The Libyan Red Crescent Society (LRCS) took to Twitter to call on all parties to remain calm and de-escalate so that their team can work and provide aid to trapped civilians.
The society added that they have received many calls and messages from families trapped in the conflict areas, where they are appealing to us for a safe way out.
In a statement, Libya's health ministry urged the warring parties to allow ambulances and emergency teams into affected areas and appealed for blood donations to nearby hospitals.
