Lahore: Pakistan cricket team fast bowler announces retirement from international cricket.

Turning to Twitter Wahab informed his fans about the news of stepping away from international cricket.

“After an incredible journey, I've decided to retire from international cricket,” he wrote.

He conveyed big thanks to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), his family, coaches, mentors, teammates, fans, and everyone who supported him.

The bowler also made a big announcement about joining the franchise cricket that he is excited about the world of franchise cricket.

It is pertinent to note that cricketer Wahab is performing the duties of advisor to the Chief Minister in the caretaker government of Punjab.

Wahab Riaz played 27 Test matches, 91 ODI matches and 36 T20 matches for Pakistan in his 15-year international cricket career. He took a total of 83 wickets in Test matches, 120 in ODIs and 34 in T20Is.
