Petition regarding resignations dismissed as ineffective
The two-member bench headed by Umar Atta Bandial dismissed the petition as ineffective.
Islamabad: The Supreme Court Monday dismissed the petition regarding the resignations of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders as ineffective.
According to details, the case related to the resignations of PTI was heard by a two-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Atta Bandial.
Earlier in 2014, Shahid Orakzai filed a petition in the Supreme Court to accept the resignations of PTI members.
The public prosecutor said that the 2013 assembly has expired, the resignation petition has become ineffective.
