Dozens of crocodiles escape breeding farm amid flooding in China

Guangdong: Dozens of crocodiles managed to break free from a breeding farm in China due to severe flooding triggered by Typhoon Hai Koi, Chinese officials have confirmed.
Foreign media reports indicate that Chinese authorities have reported a total of 75 crocodiles escaping from the breeding farm.
This escape occurred as a result of the Maoming Lake overflowing in the Chinese province of Guangdong due to the ongoing flooding caused by the typhoon.
While some of the escaped crocodiles have been successfully recaptured, the search is still underway for the remaining eight crocodiles that are still missing.
In response to this unusual situation, Chinese authorities have issued advisories to residents in the vicinity of the lake, urging them to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary and to exercise caution during this challenging time.
