The Information Minister says they would discharge their duties as per the constitution without any discrimination.


Islamabad: Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi on Saturday termed holding free, fair and transparent elections as collective responsibility of all stakeholders saying that the caretaker government will create conducive environment in this regard.
He was talking to the Caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh, Justice (Retd) Maqbool Baqar in Karachi today.
Both the exchanged views on number of issues including facilitating the media and ensuring free, fair and transparent elections and reiterated their commitment to fully cooperate in this regard.
The Information Minister said they would discharge their duties as per the constitution without any discrimination. He said we want better relationship with all the political parties.
Highlighting the importance of media, the Minister said media is a part of the different phases of electoral process and acts as a bridge for the Election Commission.
Murtaza Solangi termed credible reporting in elections as most important feature to ensure the access of accurate information to the public.
