Punjab Education Minister announces leaves for Friday and Saturday

Lahore: Punjab has announced two-day holidays for the students of all government and private schools, colleges and universities acorss the province amid heightened tensions betwene Pakistan and India.
The Punjab Education Minister announced that schools would remain closed for Friday and Saturday.
Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has stated that the decision to close educational institutions has been made in light of the deteriorating law and order situation.
The provincial education minister announced that all educational institutions will remain closed on Friday and Saturday. The closure applies to all schools, colleges, and universities. Academic activities across Punjab will resume on Monday, May 12.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Education Department has issued an official notification ordering the closure of both public and private educational institutions across the province until Sunday.
According to the Secretary of Education, the decision was made in response to the current circumstances, and academic activities will recommence from Monday onwards.
