Judge Abul Hasanat of the Official Secrets Act Court considered the request for a telephone conversation with the sons of the PTI chairman.

Islamabad: The judge of the Special Court of the Official Secrets Act in Islamabad has approved a request to allow Imran Khan's sons to make telephone calls.
The decision comes as Imran Khan faces legal proceedings related to the Official Secrets Act.
The request for permission for telephonic communication with Imran Khan's sons was heard by Official Secret Act Court Judge Abul Hasanat.
Imran Khan's lawyer, Shiraz Ranjha, appeared before the court during the hearing.
During the proceedings, Judge Abul Hasanat acknowledged that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding telephone conversations with the Superintendent of Adiala Jail had not yet been received.
He mentioned that once the SOPs for telephone conversations in the jail become available, they will be reviewed.
In the meantime, lawyer Shiraz Ranjha informed the court that Chairman PTI wishes to provide a bicycle for exercise to Imran Khan while in jail.
He emphasized the importance of ensuring that the bicycle is not misused and highlighted that the jail superintendent continues to oversee the bicycle's use.
To address this matter, the court issued an order, effectively resolving the bicycle issue.
Following a short break in the court proceedings, Judge Abul Hasanat stated that the SOPs, according to which the accused is not allowed to communicate, had been received.
He mentioned that permission for international communication should be presented in writing. Judge Abul Hasanat granted permission for telephonic conversations, allowing the Superintendent of Adiala Jail to communicate with Imran Khan's sons.
