Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday issued a detailed decision rejecting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan's bail plea in the cipher case and dismissal of the case.

According to details, Chief Justice of IHC Aamer Farooq issued a detailed judgment in which it has been stated that Section-5 of the Official Secrets Act is apparently applicable to the petitioner in the case.

The detailed decision of the IHC said it is the case of prosecution that the Ministry of External Affairs de-coded the cypher and sent it to the Prime Minister's Secretariat.

According to the court ruling, Imran Khan received the cypher as Prime Minister and apparently lost it.

The decision of IHC told that according to the prosecution, the contents of the cypher were twisted and used for political purposes. The statements of the former and current officers of the Foreign Office, especially Asad Majeed, who sent the cypher, are on record.

It is clear from the statements of the officers of the Foreign Office that there is no foreign conspiracy involved, the decision added.
