Dr. Faisal Sultan refutes rumours of ‘slow poisoning’ to Imran Khan
Dr. Sultan and the PTI chairman also addressed matters concerning Shaukat Khanum Hospital during their meeting in Adiala jail.
Rawalpindi: Dr. Faisal Sultan, the personal physician of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, visited him at Adiala Jail and refuted rumors of 'slow poisoning,'.
Dr. Faisal Sultan, while addressing journalists, mentioned that he had a comprehensive meeting with the PTI chief and conducted a thorough medical check-up.
He reassured that the PTI chief is in good health.
During their discussion, Dr. Sultan and the PTI chairman also addressed matters concerning Shaukat Khanum Hospital. Dr. Sultan firmly dismissed rumors of slow poisoning, emphasizing that the PTI chief is not experiencing any such issues. He confirmed that he had personally examined him.
Dr. Sultan further stated that Imran Khan has not raised any complaints about the food and is maintaining a regular exercise routine while in jail.
In addition to Dr. Faisal Sultan's visit, a legal team met with the PTI chairman at Adiala Jail today. The legal team members included Hamid Khan, Naeem Haider Panjota, Raja Yasir, and Umair Niazi.
Earlier in the day, investigators from Rawalpindi police arrived at Adiala Jail to record the PTI chairman's statement regarding the May 9 riots.
