Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear the appeals of former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif against the sentences in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia references today (Tuesday).

According to the details, a bench comprising of Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Gul Hassan Aurangzeb will hear the cases, while Nawaz Sharif has reached Murree.

It is pertinent to note that only people issued entry card by the Registrar Office will be allowed to enter into the courtroom.

Earlier on October 26 this year, the IHC had reinstated the appeals against the conviction in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia references following the request of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif.

Notably, after returning home, on October 23 Nawaz Sharif had filed an appeal in the IHC to revive the appeals against the sentence.
