Matriculation exams postponed in KP

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has rescheduled matriculation exams to April 18 which was initially set for March 14.

The provincial government made the move showing consideration for the Holy month of Ramazan.

Chairman Nasarullah Khan Yousafzai of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar announced the alternation in the exam schedule, citing the start of the Holy month of Ramazan as the reason for the change.

The alternation in the schedule resulted from a collective decision made during a meeting involving all board chairmen in KP, according to Chairman Nasarullah Khan Yousafzai.

In accordance with the directive from the Controller Examination, the board adjusted the exam schedule to align with the government’s request to avoid conducting exams during Ramazan.
