Mohsin Naqvi to be nominated as PCB chairman
Mohsin Naqvi has decided to be included in the Board of Governors of PCB.
Lahore: It has been decided to nominate Mohsin Naqvi as Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in place of Zaka Ashraf.
Mohsin Naqvi is currently performing his duties as the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab who has decided to be included in the Board of Governors of PCB.
According to the details, the Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has two nominations in the Board of Governors including Mustafa Ramde and Mohsin Naqvi.
In the Pakistan Cricket Board elections, the Chairman is elected from among the Board of Governors.
Mohsin Naqvi’s Conversation:
Talking to media today when the journalist asked Mohsin if he is being appointed as the chairman PCB. To which he replied with a smile that really if he was being appointed as the Chairman PCB.
He shook his head and confirmed about the Chairman PCB saying: “I will try to solve the cricket issues also quickly, the reforms in cricket are very important. I will fulfill the role I got to serve the country. I also appointed a cricketer as minister in my cabinet”.
It is to be noted that earlier on January 19, Zaka Ashraf had resigned from the post of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman management committee head and Member Board of Governors.
