Yasir Hussain rejects son's acting prospects
The actor says Pakistani dramas are being watched in India, because they have low-quality dramas.

Karachi: Pakistani actor and director Yasir Hussain said that their industry is not a good industry, so he did not want his son to get into acting.
Yasir Hussain said, “Our industry is not a good industry. I don't want my son to be in this industry. If he comes, I won't stop him, but I don't want him to become an actor,”.
He expressed these words in a clip of a recent interview that went viral on the social media.
The actor clarified his position, asking the host to explain what work is being done in the industry. He said, "What kind of work does an actor do? An actor's job is to act well. In the showbiz field, we have to showcase our talents, but in our industry, you are continuously offered bad work,”.
He stated, “Where are the good TV hit dramas? A drama that runs for 25 episodes shows an actor, but if it runs for 40 episodes, how can such a drama be good?,”.
About popularity of Pakistani dramas in India, Yasir Hussain said, “Our dramas are not being watched all over the world. If they are watched in India, it's because they have low-quality dramas. Therefore, people who don't have anything else to do, just teach their children Urdu, they are definitely watching our dramas,”.
