Israel rejects possibility of terms with Saudi Arabia for recognizing Palestine

Tel Avivv: Israel has rejected the possibility of establishing relations with Saudi Arabia in exchange for recognizing a Palestinian state.

Israeli Minister Eli Cohen said that they will not establish relations with Saudi Arabia in exchange for recognizing Palestine as a state.

The Israeli minister stated that if expanding regional relations comes at the cost of establishing Palestinian state, then it is not acceptable.

Eli Cohen added that it is possible to make a peace agreement with Saudi Arabia without establishing a state.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden said in an interview that Saudi Arabia is ready to recognize Israel, and a two-state solution is necessary to maintain the existence of Israel.

Joe Biden stated that he is in contact with six Arab countries including Qatar. The cease-fire in Gaza will give us an opportunity to move in the direction that many Arab countries are ready for, he added.
