Asad ur-Rehman appoints as principal secretary of PM
Pakistan administrative officer in government department Asad ur-Rehman Gilani has been appointed as principle secretary of prime minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Islamabad: Pakistan administrative officer in government department Asad ur-Rehman Gilani has been appointed as principal secretary of prime minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
According to the details, Shehbaz Sharif ordered to appoint new principle secretary after elected as new prime minister of Pakistan. Asad Gilani was also appointed as incharge of power division earlier. He is 24th common officer.
Earlier, Asad has also held the positions of Additional Secretary in charge of Ministry of Industry and Production, Secretary Board of Investment while the additional charge of chairman National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) was also with him, he has worked as Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office.
Khurram Agha has been removed from the post of the current Principal Secretary to the prime minister and appointed as the honorable secretary commerce, he is a grade 22 officer while the current secretary commerce Muhammad Saleh Farooqui has been removed from the post.
Lieutenant General (retired) Muhammad Chirag Haider has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Defense Production, Chirag Haider has been appointed on contract for 2 years and his appointment will be from March 5.
Secretariat Group Grade 20 Officer and Joint Secretary Ministry of Planning Khair Mohammad Kalwar has been transferred and his services have been handed over to Sindh Government.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Accounts Officer, Office of the Chief Accounts Officer, Ministry of External Affairs, Ammar Rehman has been transferred and posted as Finance and Accounts Officer at the Embassy of Pakistan in America for 3 years.
